The New Patio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk is a place dedicated to events with the participation of academic staff, guests from Poland and abroad as well as students. It is also a space open to all citizens of the Tri-City, in which, thanks to the wide program offerings, words, ideas and creative activities will infiltrate each other during the meetings. The planned initiatives will be free of charge and will take the form of lectures, workshops, interdisciplinary creative teams, the so-called ConceptLabs (Artabs, TechnoLabs, ConceptLabs) and many others, aimed at encouraging the society to increase artistic activity. The program will also include nationwide conferences, events, lecture cycles and cultural and entertainment events in the form of mobile seasonal cinema and concerts. Activities will be targeted at a wide audience, from amateurs of cultural education, to hobbyists, enthusiasts, educators, entrepreneurs, and ending with high-profile artists. The wider cultural offer of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk will create more opportunities for current and potential recipients, contributing to their greater participation in culture.

Together with the participants of the cultural program implemented in New Patio, we want to resurrect ideas and lead to the implementation of projects, through dialogue, visual techniques and broadly understood creation. We are sure that the multidisciplinary program offer will contribute to the presentation of many excellent effects that will bring a lot of satisfaction to all of us.

The project is financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
