The project aims to computerize the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and  launch the e-services through the implementation of a comprehensive IT system for academy management and distance education. The project aims to improve the activities of the academy and  to improve the educational standards

Justifications for implementation:

Computerization of the academy and launching of e-services through the implementation of a comprehensive IT system of academy management and distance learning system (platform and tools for e-learning and virtual cultural education) creating a comprehensive offer of e-services provided by the ASP in Gdańsk, increasing the level of automation of processes having affects on the efficient functioning and management of the ASP in Gdańsk, improving the flow of information and data between project stakeholders (students, candidates for studies, lecturers, academy administration, residents, tourists interested in the Academy's historic facilities), making the teaching process at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk more attractive by implementing the E – learning, promoting culture among the inhabitants of the Pomeranian Voivodeship by providing the E-Culture module, raising the prestige of the ASP in Gdańsk as a center responding to changing social trends, developing j skills and knowledge of students of the ASP in Gdańsk in the field of IT services and the Internet, raising the qualifications of employees (mainly IT specialists) of the ASP in Gdańsk – improving the availability of services provided by the ASP in Gdansk for disabled students, adapting the offer of the ASP in Gdańsk to the needs of the knowledge-based economy, counteracting the phenomenon of digital exclusion, building an information society.

The project is financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
