Fees

Fees for the admission procedure to the Doctoral School.

Persons applying for admission to the Doctoral School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk pay a fee for the recruitment procedure, determined annually by the relevant Ordinance of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.

The amount of admission fees in the academic year  2020/21 is PLN 200.

Fees should be made to the individual account number generated after enrollment in the Candidate Panel in the IRK system.

Failure to record the enrollment fee

The transfer of fees between the account from which the transfer was ordered and the Candidate's account in IRK lasts from several hours to several days (depending on the form of payment selected by the Candidate). Internet transfers are usually booked 1 or 2 days after payment, transfers ordered at the Polish Post Office are posted after about 4 days. If you have found that you have paid the enrollment fee correctly, but the IRK system did not record it, the confirmation of payment should be provided on the day of the recruitment procedure.

Recruitment fee refund

The candidate is entitled to a refund of the fee paid in the event of:

  • resignation from joining the qualification procedure, at least 1 business day before the start of the procedure – download (139 KB) docx
  • overpayments or failure to start recruitment to the Doctoral School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.

The application for a refund with the signature of the person concerned should be submitted in person to the Department of Education or sent as a scan to the e-mail address:

Fee for the doctoral student ID

On the basis of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education from 21 September 2018 on doctoral diplomas, habilitation diplomas and doctoral student ID (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1837, as amended), the following fee applies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk: for the electronic issue PhD student ID in the amount of PLN 22.00,

In the IRK system of the Candidate Panel, an individual bank account number will be indicated for the fee for the doctoral student ID.
