Dynamic Drawing for Intermedia students

The classes develop drawing skills based on observation and analysis of motility of moving objects. Students create short stop-motion animations based on a series of handwritten drawings recording the phases of movement. The topics covered by the exercises deepen skills and knowledge related to the use of handwritten drawings in animated film. An important aspect of the exercises is also the understanding of the importance of light, value and shadow for extracting the dynamics of movement. Moreover, the students gain experience in various drawing techniques, which they can then apply in their own original works.
