Artistic Graphics Studio – Intaglio Printing

The programme implemented in the Intaglio Studio is addressed to students of the Faculty of Graphic Arts. The basic aim of the training is to prepare the student for independent work in the field of artistic graphics. The student learns and applies intaglio printing techniques in practice, is interested in new means of expression, new materials and graphic tools. Enrichment of artistic expression through any combination of several graphic methods, unique techniques and own research, the possibility of presenting graphics in the form of installations. Classes are conducted in the form of lectures or corrections and technical exercises. The programme takes into account the predispositions and interests of each student, which allows to develop personality, creativity and creative awareness. Tasks and ways of making graphic compositions are determined individually. Authorial projects are carried out in the form of a series of graphic works. Technical skills should help the students to freely create their own artistic works. Students choosing the Intaglio Studio have the opportunity to complete here both their bachelor’s thesis and their master’s thesis.
