The quality of subjectively registered space depends on innate individual cognitive predispositions. We perceive the world through our senses, of which vision is considered the most important. Its dominance indirectly results from the growing importance and number of visual stimuli to which we are exposed. By assimilating an enormous amount of data, it is difficult for a designer to subject it all to verification without succumbing to the illusion of an outstanding end result. The methodology of the design process sometimes lacks consistent and inquisitive analysis, and the logical formulation of design problems that determine answers and solutions. We believe that great things begin inconspicuously, but by following the well-worn path of accepted procedures we have a chance to reach the assumed goal. Although in the creative process it is difficult to be fully convinced of reaching the end of the chosen path...

Successes and achievements are inscribed in the designer's activity, in his development, but mistakes and failures are also of great importance. It is important to draw the right conclusions in each situation, constituting the development of individual cognitive abilities. It has long been accepted in the design arts that Space is enchanted in three dimensions, which does not have to be a research limitation for the designers' imagination.

In Interior Design Studio II we try to provoke students to look for inspiration literally everywhere. Unpredictable human nature and its intellectual traces in the form of all arts, is as exciting a source of inspiration as, for example, nature or time as the fourth dimension of space.

Of course, we devote a lot of attention to exploring and contesting global trends encoded in outstanding projects. Our favourite way of confronting students with time, the difficult reality of modern times, is to encourage them to participate in national and international design competitions. Our students have outstanding achievements in such activities in Poland and in foreign competitions. A special place in our studio is occupied by manual a special place in our studio has a manual design record (sketches, models, photographs), which are the closest to us means of expression of creative thoughts and conditions and creative condition. We are committed to educating young designers who are confident in their skills and who consciously use the intellectual qualifications of sensitive creators.

Frank Loyd Wright said in one of his interviews in 1953: 'What is moral today does not necessarily have to be moral tomorrow... My God does not begin with the letter "G". My God begins with an "N" (Nature)'. These words from 67 years ago, unfortunately it was only after 40 years that their materialisation was noticed. Interior design is one of the more progressive design arts. Interior design is closely linked to drawing, graphic design, film and new digital tools. This art discipline has an undeniable impact on the personal quality and comfort of everyone's life. Conscious optimisation and symbiotic sincerity towards the environment are the ideas we identify with in the Interior Design Studio II. Prof. Remigiusz Grochal, who runs the studio, and mgr Beniamin Straszewski are a conglomerate of two generations that sometimes engage students in polemics while contesting the past, present or future in the search for design answers for interiors, furnishings and small architecture, mobile tourist facilities...
