Three dimensions: width, depth and height, as well as the search for mutual proportions between them shape the aesthetic image of architecture and determine its physical existence. Apart from the mathematical and physical aspect of this field of art, there is also a humanistic and existential dimension, shaping the perception, needs and behaviour of man, the most important user of architecture.
The subject of deliberations, analyses and investigations in this studio will be the fourth dimension of architecture, in our opinion the most important one. The changeability of human needs and preferences as well as the formation of new interpersonal relations contribute to creative and innovative design explorations, which will be our goal.
We will consider multidimensionality in architecture in the categories of:
> sensory experience,
> emotional involvement of users,
> shaping behaviour,
> understanding the meaning of cultural symbols,
> existence in contemporary times and the process of aging of architecture.
The people who support the development of our interests will be specialists in such fields as philosophy, sociology, psychology, ethics, history of art, cultural studies and technical specialists.
